
Group Therapy
Group therapy provides an opportunity to learn from other people and explore social connection or other topics in a lower pressure environment. Creative therapy groups can also incorporate expressive arts or gaming experiences.
Individual and group therapy might be done on alternating weeks, the same week, or separately depending on your situation, insurance plan (if applicable), and time commitments.
Groups listed below may be active or inactive at different times of year, and participants must be located in Washington state.

Group Opportunities
RPG Therapy Group
This therapy group provides a space to experience and explore social connection and its relation to life challenges and successes. Through guided role-play, creative activities, and therapeutic discussion, participants practice skills such as perspective taking, trust building, conversation starting, active listening, nonverbal communication, and cooperative problem solving. The group aims to help participants examine social interaction, personal identity, and self-expression and to apply insights gained to other parts of their lives.
Typical Format: Weekly or biweekly 2-hour sessions including gameplay and therapeutic discussion for 5-12 weeks. Hosted with online video for 3-6 participants using D&D 5e (2024) or other systems.
